Job description

The below opportunity is a travel assignment that has opportunities in Auburn, Buffalo, Rochester, Clifton Springs, Geneva, and Utica, NY. Depending on the travel assignment you are interested in, there will be a radius rule that must be met to qualify, which can be between 50 to 100miles.

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) with post-partum experience for a 13-week contract in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The ideal candidate is skilled in acute maternal care, confident in clinical assessments, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate post-partum period. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilize Epic for documentation, and ensure high-quality patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
  • Minimum of one year of labor and delivery/post partem nursing experience
  • Strong acute and clinical assessment skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • AWHONN and Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
  • Ability to work rotating weekends
  • Technology: Epic
