What You'll Do
Diagnostic Imaging Expertise
  • Interpret a wide range of imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality reads across outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
  • Deliver clear, actionable reports and consultative insights to referring providers.
  • Support clinical decision-making across multiple specialties including primary care, oncology, cardiology, and women's health.
Advanced Interventional Procedures
  • Perform a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures including vascular access, angiography, embolization, biopsies, ablations, drainages, and image-guided therapies.
  • Provide minimally invasive treatment options that improve outcomes and reduce recovery times.
  • Utilize imaging modalities to guide interventions with precision and safety.
Collaborative Patient Care
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Consult directly with patients when appropriate to explain diagnostic findings, procedures, risks, and treatment options.
  • Serve as a key clinical partner in both diagnosis and treatment planning.
Quality, Safety, and Compliance
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards (ACR, CMS, CLIA, HIPAA).
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review initiatives to ensure excellence in both diagnostic and procedural care.
Innovation & Program Growth
  • Leverage advanced imaging and interventional technologies to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the expansion of both diagnostic imaging services and interventional radiology programs.
  • Help shape workflows, protocols, and new service lines within a growing organization.
What You Bring
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with training in Diagnostic Radiology; fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (IR/DR certification preferred).
  • Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license, or eligibility to obtain.
Experience
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a hybrid IR/DR role (strong new graduates will be considered).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both diagnostic interpretation and interventional procedures.
  • Comfortable working across a mix of clinical settings (outpatient, procedural, and/or hospital-based environments).
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong analytical and procedural skillset with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance diagnostic workload with procedural responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for both provider collaboration and patient interaction.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using PACS, RIS, and EHR systems.
  • Patient-first mindset with a commitment to quality and outcomes.
