Cottage Health seeks an Epic Clinical Analyst Sr for their CH Administration department responsible for under minimal supervision analyzes, configures, develops, tests, implements, supports and maintains Epic clinical applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements. Obtains and maintains in depth knowledge of software functionality and acquires and utilizes knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented. 

We are seeking an experienced Epic Healthy Planet/Cheers/Ambulatory Analyst as we transform patient care - driving population health, value-based care, and care gap closure. You will build and optimize registries, dashboards, and risk-scoring models to empower clinicians with actionable insights and improve community health outcomes.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Manager and above positions may participate in Cottage Health's annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined based upon specialty and may include bonus potential. All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

Education:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Information Technology, Allied Health Professions, Business, or a related field. The equivalent of 8 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in clinical information applications and systems in health care, or a combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Minimum: Current Epic certification for assigned application(s)
  • Preferred: License or certification in a related clinical field or information systems.

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum: Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfaces, operating platforms, and network software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools. Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows and terminology specific to the appropriate clinical department. 

Years of Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support. 
  • Preferred: 5 years of analyst experience in similar clinical system implementation or EHR system support AND 5 years of project management or clinical experience in the areas of Radiology, Laboratory OR/Anesthesia, Oncology, Emergency Department, Cardiology, or other appropriate healthcare area.
