Job description

EPIC Health Partners is seeking passionate and motivated Clinician to join our growing team as group facilitators within our Addiction & Recovery Treatment Services. This role delivers provides structured group education, relapse‑prevention support, and person‑centered interventions to individuals engaged in substance use treatment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate psychoeducational, skills‑building, and therapeutic group sessions in accordance with ASAM criteria and program requirements.
  • Support individuals in identifying treatment goals and applying recovery‑oriented skills.
  • Maintain group structure, safety, engagement, and therapeutic boundaries in a person-centered environment.
  • Monitor participant participation and report clinical or safety concerns requiring supervisory or clinical review.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including group notes SAR's, ISP's, and attendance records, in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EPIC Health Partners standards.
  • Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed within scope of role.
  • Conduct and review clinical assessments.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.


Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP, LPC, LCSW, LSATP)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing substance use and/or mental health services in individual, family, or group settings.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, relapse‑prevention strategies, and evidence‑based addiction treatment approaches.
  • Ability to facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
