Job Summary:


The Training Lead & Operational Transformation Specialist designs, implements, and manages the comprehensive training strategy for LRHCโ€™s Epic EHR implementation as well as clinical and operational transformation initiatives. This role ensures that clinical, administrative, and financial staff are fully proficient in Epic workflows while aligning system capabilities with HRSA compliance, Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting, and value-based care goals.


Essential Responsibilities:

The incumbent may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties as assigned by their manager and/or LRHC Leadership.


Training Strategy and Instructional Design

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, organization-wide Epic training strategy and timeline

  • Build and maintain the Epic training environment (MST) in coordination with the technical team

  • Design role-based training tailored to LRHC-specific workflows (e.g., integrated behavioral health, dental, sliding fee scale workflows).

  • Create required training materials including e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, and competency assessments.


Operational Transformation & Change Management

  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to map current workflows to future Epic best practices.

  • Integrate HRSA compliance guidelines and UDS data capture requirements directly into end-user training.

  • Serve as a change advocate, addressing user resistance and promoting data-driven operational workflows.

  • Optimize integrated care workflows, ensuring seamless communication between medical, behavioral health, and dental modules.


Requirements
Qualifications

Education/Experience/Certification

Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Nursing (MSN), Informatics, Education or a related field.


Minimum of 3โ€“5 years of healthcare training experience, with at least 2 years specifically leading Epic training tracks.


Epic Principal Trainer credentialing history is required.


Epic Certification in Training Environment Build (TEB) or a specific Epic application module (e.g., Ambulatory, Prelude/Cadence, Willow) is highly preferred


Language Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred


Skills and Competencies
Equipment Operated

Wide range of office equipment.


Enterprise server infrastructure, firewalls, network switches, and access control hardware.


High proficiency and daily use of enterprise software suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Epic EHR, and helpdesk ticketing workflows).


Mental/Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting or standing for long periods while using a computer or conducting patient interviews. Regular walking within the clinic to coordinate with medical staff or escort patients. Must be able to lift or move up to 15โ€“25 pounds and occasionally push.
