Are you seeking a free standing emergency department opportunity in Central Florida? TeamHealth is proud to partner with UF Health to staff UF Health Brownwood FSED in The Villages, Florida.
UF Health Brownwood FSED is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art trauma bays, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology including CT and X-ray, and laboratory and respiratory therapy services. The emergency department offers quality care from seasoned healthcare experts 24 hours a day.
Department Information
  • Annual visits: 24,000
  • 24/7 emergency care with X-ray, ultrasound, full lab, respiratory therapist, and CT available
  • EMR: EPIC
  • 28 beds including 2 trauma bays
  • 12-hour shifts
  • APC coverage

What We're Looking For
  • PRN/part-time/full-time
  • Board certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current EM experience and valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
  • Completion of an accredited residency program is required
