Job description

EPI Power is seeking an experienced Energy Marshall (Electrical LOTO Coordinator) to support large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. This field-based role is responsible for overseeing and enforcing electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), energy isolation, and energization programs during construction and commissioning.
The Energy Marshall (Electrical LOTO Coordinator) serves as the site authority for electrical energy control, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, NEC, and project-specific Energy Isolation and Energization Plans. This role is critical to maintaining safe work conditions, preventing incidents, and supporting a strong safety culture.
Location: Boydton, Virginal
What You'll Do
  • Lead and enforce electrical LOTO and energy isolation procedures
  • Review Energy Isolation Plans, Energization Plans, JHAs, and electrical permits
  • Audit and monitor electrical energy control during construction and commissioning
  • Coordinate safe testing and operation of electrical and MEP systems
  • Serve as the single point of authority for electrical energy control
  • Train employees on electrical LOTO and energy isolation processes
  • Maintain compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and client requirements
  • Communicate with project leadership, safety teams, and clients

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of industrial or commercial electrical construction field experience (mission-critical/Data Center preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, one-lines, and construction drawings
  • Strong experience with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and battery systems
  • Strong communication skills with a safety-first mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
