What You Will Be Doing:

As the EPG Sales Administrator you will be accurately and efficiently managing the invoicing, procurement and project files for all Electric Power Projects. You will manage the interests between management, sales, and project management to ensure Yancey delivers best in class service to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Process credit approval request- Complies all T&Cs and quotes for credit to issue credit approval for all new projects.
  • Project close-out (GP% review)- Reviews projects monthly at close-out to ensure estimates on the projects are correct after fully closing the project- Project amounts range from $5k-$10M+.
  • Place CAT orders- After a project is won, the sales admin is responsible for placing all orders with CAT. Orders can range from $10k-$10M+.
  • Process invoices for all sales- Issues partial and full billing on all projects.
  • Manage shipping of inventory- Manage shipping of inventory- Inventory values of $10k-$900K (this price range is based on single unit cost).
  • Calculate Commissions- Calculates commissions for all 5 sales reps. Commissions range from $0-$100K per month. All information to calculate commissions is gathered by the sales admin and inputted into our system. Reviewed by management after sales admin sending to payroll.
  • Manage stock inventory- Current stocking inventory- $10M+.
  • Manage EPG Backlog- Add, remove, and move projects within the EPG Backlog. This is used for financial forecasting. Current backlog $2B.
  • Prepare project submittal and O&M- Review project and compile all equipment information to supply to the customer. This includes all safety-related material.
  • Project costing reconciliation- This position reviews internal costs to ensure accuracy at the project's close. Cost ranges from $0- $100K+.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 to 2 years dealer sales administration preferred.
