Description

Position supervises warehouse staff and manages shipping, receiving, packaging and other responsibilities at EPC Power's warehouse and storage facility. Ensures all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Prepares schedules for Warehouse Associates, training new employees on how to use machinery, and monitoring compliance with safety standards. 

Requirements

  • Establish warehouse practices, procedures, and protocols to achieve and maintain an efficient and safe warehouse. 
  • Develops overall material flow design from receipt of raw material to outgoing finished goods. 
  • Develop processes and plans to effectively utilize overall Warehouse Space. Review and prepare workflow, staffing and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met. 
  •  Manages Warehouse staff by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results. 
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and reviewing safety procedures and protocols, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment. 
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain, Executive Management and warehouse team leads and supervisors. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest federal and state safety regulations. 
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Other duties or responsibilities within the scope of role as required or assigned. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, preferred, but not required.  
  • 5+ years of production/warehouse management, inventory, logistics and/or distribution experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
