Position Summary

The Senior Director of Sales will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with key strategic accounts, driving revenue growth through tailored solutions, and positioning EPC Power as the inverter partner of choice for utility-scale and distributed energy projects.

Requirements:

Key Account Management: Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with top-tier solar and storage developers, utilities, and EPCs. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with customer goals and EPC Power’s value proposition.


Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies that address customer pain points, project requirements, and long-term growth opportunities. Lead negotiations and close complex deals involving BESS, grid-forming inverters, and hybrid systems.


Market Expansion & Intelligence: Identify emerging trends in renewable energy, grid modernization, and energy storage to inform product positioning and go-to-market tactics. Leverage insights to shape EPC Power’s roadmap and customer engagement strategies.


Revenue Ownership: Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting for key solar and storage accounts. Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets through proactive account planning and opportunity management.


Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure customer feedback informs product development and messaging. Act as the voice of the customer within EPC Power.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in solar, energy storage, or power electronics.
  • Proven success managing strategic accounts and closing large-scale renewable energy deals.
  • Deep understanding of grid-connected and islanded systems, microgrids, and high-availability requirements.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with power electronics and/or selling solutions into the solar and energy storage industries
  • Background in strategic and value selling
