Job description

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, allied and ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong experience with interventional cases (not IR) and performing STEMI required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: EP and TAVR experience preferred. Siemens X ray system experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Procedures include Impella insertion, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, Rotablader, pacemaker/defib device placement, stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options: 07:30 - 18:00 or 06:30 - 17:00. Call required: 10-12 shifts per month with weekend call included.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years
