Job description

  • Programming and commissioning Distech systems using EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION and the ECLYPSE and ECB controllers.
  • Building out control sequences and graphics for HVAC and wider building systems, working to the project spec and sequence of operations.
  • Integrating kit across BACnet, Modbus and LonWorks.
  • Handling remote commissioning, troubleshooting and tuning on live sites.
  • Going through submittals, points lists and controls drawings, and having a say on the design side.
  • Working alongside project managers, field techs and clients to get jobs over the line.
  • Lending a hand to junior programmers when they need it.ย

What you need

  • At least 3 years of actual Distech programming. This is the one we can't budge on. Experience on other platforms is good to have but it won't replace time spent in Distech.
  • Good hands-on knowledge of EC-gfxProgram, ENVYSION graphics and the ECLYPSE and ECB range.
  • A proper understanding of HVAC and how standard sequences of operation work.
  • Real experience with BACnet and pulling in third-party devices.
  • The discipline to run your own day and juggle a few projects at once without someone looking over your shoulder.
