Job description

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of providers at Medical City Dallas in the Pediatric Emergency Department. Overview: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in our Emergency Department. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric medical conditions and emergencies.

Position Profile: Current licensure / Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred) 19 Pediatric ED Beds + 2 Triage Spaces 39,000 annual volume 9-hour shifts Meditech EMR Pediatric sub-specialties include cardiology, cardiac surgery, GI, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, surgery, urology, and plastic surgery Join a team of experienced PEM trained physicians and acute care, pediatric dedicated, advanced practice providers who are providing 24/7 PED coverage Medical City Children’s Hospital is the flagship children’s hospital of the large network of Medical City Hospitals. The hospital is a 254-bed, award-winning, pediatric healthcare facility, delivering specialized pediatric care. It boasts a 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit supported by a PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program.

The emergency medicine group works alongside exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology and infectious disease. The site also operates a pediatric hematology-oncology program, in addition to a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services. Located on the same campus, Medical City Dallas includes a Level IV NICU and adult hospital, making it the only hospital in the DFW metroplex to offer comprehensive care for all ages including, women and infant services under the same roof.

Dallas, a large and dynamic city in north Texas, has a diverse mix of art and culture, including the nation’s largest urban arts district, world-renowned museums, shopping, live music, orchestra and concert halls.
