Essential Job Functions
  • Commandeer the outdoors, sweeping away any unwelcome debris at entryways.
  • Embrace the skill of floor care, sweeping and mopping your way to a sparkling environment.
  • Conquer surfaces, wiping down countertops, desks, and other areas with precision.
  • Gather and launder soiled linens.
  • Dive into the challenge of creating sanitary and infection-free realms by cleaning bathrooms and resident rooms.
  • Fearlessly handle human waste and bodily fluids, following the rules of infection control and sanitation.
  • Empty trash containers, ensuring no remnants of chaos linger.
  • Replenish supplies, restocking linens and other necessities.
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment in its rightful place.

Requirements and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in environmental services, preferably a healthcare facility
  • 6 months of professional cleaning experience preferred
  • Obtain and maintain
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to twist, bend and kneel through shift; able to pick up debris from the floor
  • Must be able to work with chemicals, infectious waste, diseases and communicable diseases.
  • Regularly required to talk, hear and read.
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
  • Friendly polite and courteous demeanor
  • Able to take directions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work and cooperate as part of a team
