Over the past 5+ years, HighGround has acquired fourteen additional brands across the US encompassing decades of industry experience and market success.

Asbestos & Environmental Services Manager

This role will own development, standardization, and performance of asbestos/abatement services across a multi-brand, multi-state portfolio of water mitigation companies. At the platform level, you would be driving revenue growth, margin expansion, operational consistency, and regulatory compliance across all operating brands. Function as the bridge between Brand Field Asbestos Managers, Brand General Managers and HighGround leadership team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive growth attainment & operational excellence in Asbestos and Environmental services

  • Support brands in organic growth and execution of testing and abatement services for Asbestos, Mold, and other environmental services
  • Drive portfolio brand operational performance through supporting brand leadership team in execution of day-to-day sales, service delivery, and collections
  • Ensure brand performance is compliant with overall HighGround policies and operating systems and technologies
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators to manage business outcomes and reduce performance variability
  • When results vary negatively from plan, identify the variance early, and correct the root cause quickly through systematic planning and execution

Sales & Operations Management Competency Development

  • Develop “asbestos-in-a-box playbook”
  • Standardized Dash workflows
  • Lead identification, testing protocols by market, and sales approach
  • Key team members roles and profiles
  • PowerBI standard KPI dashboards with leading indicators
  • Document regulatory / licensing requirements by market
  • Pricing and estimate approval best practices
  • Aggregate best practices across brands and share learnings to facilitate accelerated growth across HighGround portfolio
  • Partner with Brand Support Partners and brand leadership to facilitate training and development of sales management resources and provide support to in-brand sales management
  • Promote the use of best practices and standard field technology to drive productivity and compliance with S-500 standards
  • Support Brands in ongoing customer communications to keep them engaged and satisfied throughout the repair experience.
  • Develop expertise in DASH and PowerBI


Process Improvement and Analysis

  • Analyze data to identify trends, process gaps, and areas for improvement in brand support efforts.
  • Leverage data to spot emerging trends that could impact brand performance or compliance and work with leadership to develop strategies to address them.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization in collaboration with Brands, ensuring efficiency while maintaining brand integrity.


Strategic Leadership

  • Be an engaged thought partner to the Brand Support Partners, the senior management team at each brand, and the HighGround leadership team
  • Provide insight and domain expertise to help inform overall organic and inorganic growth strategies
  • Provide insight into talent acquisition and retention aligned with marketing and sales
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to establish and “cross-pollinate” best practices and strategies across brands
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and Brand teams to ensure alignment on best practices, supporting corporate strategies while respecting regional nuances.
  • Build strong relationships with Brands leaders to advocate for process changes and improvements, using data and evidence to support recommendations.


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to:
  • Federal OSHA regulations
  • State-specific asbestos licensing laws
  • EPA/NESHAP requirements
  • Build audit systems across all states
  • Mitigate liability exposure for environmental services


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience asbestos/abatement or environmental services
  • Experience in water mitigation
  • Multi-location or multi-state leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Xactimate with deep understanding of:
  • Asbestos estimating
  • Insurance claims process
  • Asbestos regulations (federal + multi-state)
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA/NESHAP, and state licensing frameworks
  • Proven ability to scale operations across multiple brands
  • Strong financial literacy (P&L, margin optimization, EBITDA drivers)
  • Experience building SOPs and enforcing accountability across decentralized teams
  • Certifications (Strongly Preferred)
  • Asbestos-related certifications (vary by state, but examples include):
  • Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor License
  • AHERA Building Inspector
  • IICRC Certifications:
  • WRT (Water Restoration Technician)
  • ASD (Applied Structural Drying)
  • OSHA10 and30
