St. Mary's University of San Antonio, a private, Catholic and Marianist university invites applications for a part-time instructor (term) position in the Department of Environmental Science & Sustainability beginning January 2027. We are seeking a professional with experience working in the discipline of environmental policy and regulation to teach a 3-semester hour class titled ES 3320 - Environmental Policy and Regulation. The course is required for all Environmental Science majors and will be offered during the Spring 2027 semester.Qualifications:MS in Environmental Science with experience working with Environmental Assessment and regulatory compliance, or JD with experience working with Environmental LawsExperience teaching undergraduates at the university level preferredResponsibilities:Teach one evening section of an Environmental Policy and Regulation courseContribute to the University's Marianist educational mission (https://marianistuniversities.org/)About the DepartmentThe Department of Environmental Science & Sustainability (https://www.stmarytx.edu/academics/department/environmental-science-sustainability/)currently employs 3 full-time faculty and two adjunct faculty. Faculty teach courses for undergraduate majors as well as other undergraduate students at the university. Class sizes in the department are small with an average student-faculty ratio of 16:1.
