Parsons is looking to hire an amazingly talented environmental geologist!
Would you enjoy being involved on a wide variety of geological and environmental field tasks? Parsons is now hiring for our rapidly expanding environmental projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting various environmental projects in bringing effective solutions to complex environmental problems.
- Working with various clients and regulators in developing these solutions.
- Gaining technical experience as you work towards your professional geologist certification.
- Working with senior technical personnel and project manager to further your career goals.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Familiarity with related environmental rules and regulations is preferred
- Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills
- Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS and 1,4-dioxane)
- Experience with sediment investigation and remediation
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (and up to date refresher) training preferred.
- Fundamentals of Geology certification with goal of obtaining your Professional Geologist licensure.
