The Environmental Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.  The Environmental Manager oversees responsibilities of all project activities related to environmental services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Project Executive.

Environmental Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental Studies or closely related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experience: 5 years managing environmental design and construction compliance issues on projects. Within those 5 years, 3 years shall be specific to linear transportation projects with Federal and/or State-level fish passage elements and in-water work within the Pacific Northwest region
  • Keeps current on all EH&S regulations and utilizes all federal, state and local requirements, industry standards and governing regulations to provide guidance and effectively communicate changes to affected groups 
  • Advance knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • Practical knowledge of project management.
