Senior Environmental Engineer (Air Permitting)

Location: Green River, WY | Full-Time | On-site

A large industrial manufacturing operation is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead site air permitting and compliance programs. This role serves as the subject matter expert for state and federal air quality regulations and supports operational and capital projects at a continuous-process facility.

Key Focus Areas

  • Lead air permitting strategy and regulatory compliance (Title V, NSR, PSD, NSPS, NESHAP)
  • Prepare permit applications, emissions calculations, and compliance reports
  • Partner with operations on equipment changes and new projects
  • Manage stack testing, consultants, audits, and agency interactions
  • Support training, recordkeeping, and sustainability emissions reporting

Qualifications

  • BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • 6+ years of air permitting/compliance experience in an industrial setting
  • Strong Title V experience required
  • PE, CACP, CEP, or ISO 14001 certifications preferred
