What you'll do
- Performs daily and assigned cleaning tasks, ensuring all equipment and supplies (housekeeping carts) are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked for the next shift.
- Follows established safety and infection prevention protocols, including correct use of chemicals, equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to standard precautions.
- Maintains communication with supervisors, reporting any incomplete tasks or deviations from routine duties.
- Responds promptly to calls and pages, ensuring timely service and support throughout the facility.
- Stocks and maintains supply levels (paper goods, soap, chemicals, etc.) in all assigned areas.
- Demonstrates professionalism and teamwork, showing respect to co-workers in alignment with Salem Health's mission, vision and goals.
- 6 months of previous environmental service experience or 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
