Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

  • Assist with feeding and ensure patients receive meals and prescribed medications.

  • Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.

  • Safely transfer and reposition patients using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques.

  • Prepare patient rooms with necessary supplies and maintain a clean, safe environment.

  • Assist with toileting and incontinence care.

  • Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuries.

  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.


Qualifications
  • Active New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required.

  • Current resume required.

  • In-person interview required.

  • Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent customer service and compassionate bedside manner.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

  • Familiarity with medical equipment and documentation systems.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
