Job description

Envipco is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assembly Technician. The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling/refurbishing mechanical and electro-mechanical components for our new and refurbished Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) in our US facility. Additionally, Technicians are responsibly for adhering to testing equipment to ensure assemblies meet Envipco's quality standards all while keeping a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assemble, test and install mechanical and electro-mechanical components according to specification and processes and procedures.
• Ensure the assembly of components adhere to Envipco's quality standards and the goal of delivering machines to Quality Inspection 'Right the First Time.'
• Follow daily production schedule to meet daily goals, customer requirements and communicate with the Supervisor and Management on status.
• Must have the ability to multitask and be flexible enough to deal with directional shifts with production schedules.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Ensure that standardized work/processes are followed and that the work areas are clean, organized and compliant with all safety requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to Read/Speak and understand English.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic mechanical and electro-mechanical principles and procedures.
• Ability to follow mechanical drawings and other written work documentation.
• Experience use with hand tools and Electric Screw Gun and Drills.
• Previous experience working In lean production environment desired but not required.
• Aptitude and drive to achieve results both independently and in a group
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to lift 35 to 50 lbs. and team lift mor
