Job Summary:

The Mailroom Operator is responsible for operating high volume, envelope inserter equipment. Operator keeps work area in order and staged. Process high volume of mail daily

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate mailroom equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and logs
  • Perform accurate quality assurance checks
  • Deliver mail to local post office
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, machine experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attendance is a must
  • Organized with the ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills required
  • Good computer and writing skills are a must
  • Ability to stay focused and work in a team environment
  • Strong ability to follow policy and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Valid driverโ€™s license

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Open-plan work area

Physical Demands
