CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

FLSA Status: Exempt/Salary

Schedule: Full-time

Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000

We are looking for a full-time Construction Superintendent that has experience with coordinating, leading, and managing ground-up multi-family apartment home construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Training/Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of construction supervision experience.
  • Must have the ability to understand, create and push a project schedule.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • OSHA Trained (Certification preferred but not required)
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Experience in multifamily construction (Preferred but not required)
  • The ability to coordinate and communicate with employees, managers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ability to complete tasks in weather permitting conditions
  • Experience in Procore and Microsoft Products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field
  • Plan and coordinate project start-up in conjunction with Construction Project Manager
  • Conduct weekly superintendent meeting with subcontractors/vendors and record meeting minutes/agendas in ProCore
  • Maintain a daily job site log, collect and process daily reports
  • Coordinate all construction activities and subcontractors
  • Monitor project status and maintain appropriate building and on-site control and on-site representation to ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the contract and owners expectations
  • Monitor and direct daily job site clean-up activities to ensure a safe work environment at all times
  • Stamp, code and process delivery tickets as they are received from shipments (Coded and approved tickets shall be delivered to the Construction Project Manager via ProCore on a weekly basis)
  • Order/requisition materials, supplies, tools, and schedule equipment rentals
  • Inspect and confirm the quality, price, and correct quantities of all deliveries and their distribution on site, and sign off on packing slips

A valid drivers license, background, DMV check, and drug screen will be required upon acceptance of an offer to the candidate.

Dress Code: Appropriate attire, including safety equipment, as designated by supervisor

Contacts and Liaisons: The Construction Superintendent will regularly communicate with all necessary RealAmerica Management Company employees, their supervisors, outside vendors and other individuals as deemed necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
