Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Vancouver, Washington. This is an outpatient-only position with no call, no hospital rounding, and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Position Highlights:

  • Start Date: ASAP (orientation on the first day)
  • Assignment Length: Approximately 6 months
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Flexible scheduling available open to one full-time provider or two providers working alternating schedules (1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)
  • 8-hour weekday shifts
  • Outpatient clinic only
  • No call, hospital rounding, or admissions

Practice Details:

  • Adult patient population
  • Average of 16 patients per day
  • 420-bed affiliated health system
  • No procedures required
  • Epic-trained multidisciplinary team including Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Cardiac Sonographers, and Device Technicians

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Active Washington medical license preferred
  • IMLC candidates with a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) are encouraged to apply
  • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Documentation of at least 100 representative clinical cases performed within the past 24 months is required for privileging
