Job description

As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our workforce.

You'll bring creativity and strategy to meet evolving recruitment needs, ensuring we find the right people for the right roles. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for a wide variety of positions from entry level to upper management. Provide full-cycle recruitment services to an exceptionally varied group of County Departments including the Health Department, Courts, Sheriff's Office, and Public Works Department, to name a few. Prepare recruitment marketing materials, including social media content, prepare and facilitate the interview process, and complete reference and background checks.

Attend job fairs to recruit talent. Establish relationships with County hiring managers. Play a key role in attracting talent from various backgrounds to enhance our workforce.

May support County Employee and Labor Relations including conducting investigations, drafting corrective action documents and letters of understanding. *Note - this position is referral bonus eligible* Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, Management, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Proven ability to manage the entire recruitment process independently, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. Strong understanding of a variety of recruitment methods, talent sourcing strategies, and workforce outreach approaches. Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA; Title VII; the Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act; and the Bullard-Plawecki Right to Know Act.

Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and department stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
