Job description

Global Office Print Product Marketing Manager

Description -

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the positioning and messaging for HP's product and solutions portfolio. This includes both new product introductions and existing portfolio segments, ensuring compelling, differentiated content and tools that support sales effectiveness and drive adoption across the full range of the HP office print portfolio. This person coordinates key checkpoints throughout the NPI lifecycle, and partners with cross-functional teams to shape product positioning and differentiated value propositions. This role translates customer insights into compelling messaging and sales-ready content that brings HP's promise to life across every stage of the customer journey. This role ensures alignment across product, category, sales, and marketing teams, translating technical features into compelling customer benefits that support successful market entry. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver clear, persuasive launch positioning are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Positioning & messaging:

  • Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated value propositions and external-facing messaging for HP products and solutions, ensuring they align with market needs, customer insights, and competitive landscape.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Serve as the marketing lead for market, customer, and competitive insights, identifying trends and opportunities that inform portfolio strategy and positioning.

  • Translate insights into differentiated messaging and recommendations that support high-impact launches, stronger sales conversations, and sustained market relevance.

Sales Enablement

  • Lead the creation and curation of impactful sell-in materials (presentations, one-pagers, competitive sell-against tools, etc) that strengthen sales effectiveness.

Oversee end-to-end new product introductions:

  • Collaborate with the Global Business Unit (GBU) during initial product roadmap planning to assess market opportunities and align strategic objectives.

  • Participate in strategic checkpoints throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, ensuring early marketing inputs are incorporated into product and positioning development.

  • Work closely with category, sales, and market partners to ensure alignment and consistency of all customer-facing content.

  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize messaging and sell-in content to boost useability and conversion rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager or in a related role.

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams.

  • Analytical mindset with familiarity in using data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, content management tools, and analytics software, is a plus.
