Job description

Basic Function

Airvac is the global leader in the Vacuum Technology System industry. The primary function of our Service & Aftermarket Sales Representative is to be responsible for customer inquiries and parts sales for vacuum collection systems projects. They have substantial customer interaction and interdepartmental coordination. They work closely with technicians, operators, and project personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison for customers who are ordering spare parts and services.
  • Prepares quotes and enters customer orders.
  • Coordinates activities with purchasing and production to facilitate customer orders.
  • Responds to customer inquiries for pricing, shipping, inventory, returns, credits, etc.
  • Coordinates with freight vendors for online set up, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Requests, secures, and analyzes quotations from vendors for non-stock parts and outside repairs.
  • Provides customers with part and service offerings and promotions.
  • Accurately documents detail-specific service and project updates in CRM software.
  • Maintains a general understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and quality objectives.
  • Performs various other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years’ in parts sales, customer service, order entry, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, assembly orders, and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to work as a team in a collaborative environment as well as individually.

Software proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Sharepoint, NetSuite, and Salesforce experience preferred.
