Start Your Career in Pharmaceutical Quality! VPI Compounding Pharmacy is hiring a Entry Level Quality Assistant to join our growing team. This is the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking for a stable career in healthcare. In this role, you will support our Quality Department by helping ensure every medication we make meets strict safety standards. If you are organized, enjoy following procedures, and want to earn a competitive wage while learning a specialized trade, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Ensure Product Safety: Perform sampling of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet safety standards before reaching patients.
  • Verify Accuracy: Review logs, forms, and daily records to ensure all data is complete and accurate.
  • Support the Lab: Assist the team in preparing for internal inspections and audits.
  • Maintain Standards: Enter data and file reports following clear written procedures to keep the department running smoothly.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Pharmacy, Compounding, and Warehouse teams to support daily operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience: No previous laboratory experience necessary. We are happy to train motivated candidates who have a strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking between departments for extended periods.
  • Frequent computer and document review work.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear PPE (lab coat, gloves, mask) in controlled or sterile areas.
