This position qualifies for the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program! The Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program is a new state program that provides compensation support to eligible child care centers specifically to recruit and retain child care employees who regularly care for children. Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of students!  Apply to be a Kids' Club Lead.  The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and support the Program Specialist in the supervision of youth in afterschool care programming.

POSITION: Summer Kids' Club Lead  LOCATION: Normandale, Cornelia, Countryside Elementary School  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. HOURS PER DAY: Candidates are hired to work part-time or full-time shifts, depending on program need.  Consistent weekly schedule preferred. DAYS PER YEAR:                 6/1/2026 - 8/14/2026 DAILY SCHEDULE: Summer Program operates 7:00 am 6:00 pm. Monday - Friday. Part time and Full time. We will work with candidates to plan around schedules as much as possible.  RATE OF PAY:            The wage for this position ranges from $16.97 to $23.34 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget. BENEFITS: This is a temporary/seasonal position. Eligible employees will participate in the state's largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
