Pay Range: $66,535.82 to $99,803.86
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

About the Role
As a UI Developer I, you will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive, high-quality user interface designs. This role focuses on creating thoughtful user experiences through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows while collaborating closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation. You will also contribute to establishing consistent UI and UX best practices across multiple applications.
What You'll Do
  • Create wireframes, journey maps, process flows, and site maps to support application design and usability
  • Develop UI mockups and interactive prototypes that clearly demonstrate application behavior and user flow
  • Incorporate feedback from end users, business partners, and stakeholders into design solutions
  • Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand requirements and usability needs
  • Partner with front-end developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented
  • Support the creation and maintenance of UI and UX design standards across internal and public-facing applications
  • Communicate design ideas, concepts, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participate in iterative design and review cycles to continuously improve user experience

What We're Looking For
  • Associate degree or equivalent education
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in UI design, UX design, or a related field
  • Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools for web and interactive platforms
  • Solid understanding of design principles, user experience, information architecture, and visual design
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar UI design tools
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work through ambiguous requirements and help drive clarity

  • Basic understanding of front-end coding concepts to support technically feasible designs
  • Experience designing for iOS and Android platforms
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
