Web Content Manager
Position summary
We're seeking a web content manager to manage and update our CMS in Contentful. Sitting on the Enterprise Content Team, you will play a key role in ensuring consistency and governance across our web platforms.

  • Hands on experience with Contentful CMS
  • Adobe Workfront experience
  • Familiarity with Seismic
  • Keen eye for brand consistency
  • Project management and content operations experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Excellent verbal and email communications skills
  • Familiarity with Associated Press style of writing
  • Great organization skills, time-management, and effective communication
  • Great inter-personal and relationship building skills
  • Perform well under deadlines and be detail oriented
  • Comfort using AI content tools for drafting, summarization, and metadata, with strong editorial judgment to review and correct AI output
  • Adaptability and comfort learning new content tools and platforms as the tech stack evolves

You will
  • Project manage content updates in Workfront platform:
    • Review web requests that come in for updates across website.
    • Manage process of getting content created with writers.
    • Ensure consistency with tags and processes in Welcome.
  • Perform content updates on platforms:
    • Edit and create new pages for all web platforms in Contentful CMS.
    • Update content for advisors on Seismic.
    • Work with creative on image sourcing and resizing as needed.
    • Send previews to project requester.
    • Coordinate content across platforms.
  • Manage expiring content and broken links:
    • Review broken links report and correct issues.
    • Generate expiring content reports and manage updating them or sunsetting pages with page owners in Welcome.
    • Check analytics and provide recommendations on pages.
  • Support content governance:
    • Conduct content audits to categorize all pages and make a determination on next steps based on goals, data, usage, etc.
    • Manage content inventory.
    • Govern videos across platforms to ensure they're within compliance.
  • Support content planning:
    • PowerPoint presentation support for content strategy.
    • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to support your work while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Reporting relationships
As our Web Content Manager, you will report to our Web Content Managing Editor, who reports to our Enterprise and Brand Content Lead.
Location
The primary location for this position is New York, NY, in-office three days a week.
Travel
Travel is not required for this position.
Salary Range:
$70,930.00 - $106,390.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
