Summary:

The Pricing Analyst position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Pricing. The position is responsible for providing analysis and performing system modifications to maintain and support the goals of the company while working closely with sales. The Pricing analyst will establish, maintain, and execute line item pricing for key accounts, multi-divisions and site-specific contracts. This position is also responsible for the coordination and implementation of yearly price increases, Branch location Price Review preparation, and competitor price comparisons. Pay for this position is between $58,000-$65,000 per year commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Receive, review, and implement vendor pricing
  • Provide back up support in resolving price discrepancies with the customer
  • Monitor price levels and discounts by region, channel, and pricing type to maintain discount goals
  • Recommend pricing strategies
  • Perform competitor analysis on product offering, pricing and promotions
  • Determining sales channel and price by product type, condition, and category
  • Maintain and update price increases and discontinued products
  • Determine price points for new, used, demo, and excess products
  • Establishing and maintaining Vendor rules and automated price programs
  • Performs other related duties as required

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • 3 years prior experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. SQL & Eclipse ERP System.
  • Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.
