NABRICO Marine Products, a leading manufacturer of inland barges, manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, NABRICO Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Coordinator to support our growing brand presence. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience in content creation, brand storytelling, and digital engagement within a manufacturing environment.

This role will help showcase our people, products, and culture while supporting recruiting, branding, and business communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and maintaining NABRICO’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels)
  • Create and schedule engaging content including posts, photos, short-form videos, and employee highlights
  • Support internal teams by promoting company events, safety initiatives, hiring efforts, and operational milestones
  • Capture content onsite (photos/videos) that reflects our facilities, employees, and products
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide basic reporting on performance and trends
  • Ensure all content aligns with company branding and professional standards
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership on recruiting campaigns and employer branding efforts
  • Stay current on social media trends and recommend new ideas to enhance visibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications (internships applicable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content strategies
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms is a plus
