AXL Advanced is seeking a highly organized, self-starter Media & Content Coordinator to support and help grow the media, content, and communications efforts behind the AXL brand.

This is not an entry-level social media position and we will only be looking at candidates with tactical / outdoor gear industry experience.

  • A hands-on content, launch support, website, email, and social media execution role
This role focuses on helping coordinate, organize, publish, and execute content across AXLs website, newsletters, social media platforms, product launches, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate understands modern digital marketing, tactical gear & firearms culture, and how to keep content organized, engaging, and moving on schedule in a fast-paced environment.
This position works closely with leadership, design, and operations teams to support content creation, launch execution, social engagement, and brand consistency across platforms.
Responsibilities
Media & Content Support

  • Maintain and help execute a forward-planned media and content calendar tied to launches, promotions, and company goals
  • Assist with organizing, scheduling, and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch, email, and other platforms
  • Help keep launches, campaigns, and content organized and on schedule
  • Generate engaging content that supports brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Help develop short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube Shorts while supporting larger YouTube content initiatives
  • Assist with content organization systems, templates, workflows, and publishing processes
Website & Email Support
  • Coordinate with website and Shopify teams to keep product pages, launch assets, collections, and promotional content updated
  • Assist with newsletters, promotional emails, launch announcements, and automated email flows
  • Help maintain consistent messaging and branding across website, email, and social platforms
  • Support launch preparation by helping organize media assets, links, and promotional materials
Social Media & Community Engagement
  • Help grow AXLs digital presence and community engagement
  • Monitor trends, tactical industry conversations, and social engagement
  • Interact with customers through Instagram DMs, comments, story replies, and other social media channels
  • Help foster positive relationships with customers, creators, influencers, and industry homies within the tactical and firearms community
  • Assist with creator collaborations, social engagement, and community interactions
Advertising & Agency Coordination
  • Assist with communication and coordination between AXL and external marketing/advertising agencies
  • Help organize promotional timelines, launch schedules, and creative deliverables
  • Assist with gathering campaign notes and feedback when needed
Qualifications
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with social media management, content coordination, or digital marketing
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo preferred
  • Understanding of modern social media trends and short-form content
  • Tactical, firearms, military, and outdoor industry familiarity required
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Willing to help shoot photos/video content and assist with editing when needed
