Across its five Schools, Fisher offers nearly 40 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing; 11 pre-professional programs; and master's and doctoral programs in business, nursing, education, pharmacy, and public health. The University's residential campus boasts a robust living and learning community and a successful intercollegiate athletics program. Fisher is a community where all are welcome, regardless of religious or cultural background.
The University continues to honor its founders, the Congregation of St. Basil, by embracing their motto, "Teach Me Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge." We are located in Pittsford, N.Y., seven miles outside of the city of Rochester. The campus is situated on 164 park-like acres-a beautiful setting for a warm, friendly campus community.

Shift assignment(s) are made based on operational needs and subject to change - (see "Work Hours" for hours of operation)
The officer would be expected to perform routine security patrols, investigate reported and self-initiated complaints. Investigate and prepare reports on all incidents reported to security (criminal complaints, fire alarms, injuries, accidents and illnesses). Respond to emergency situations, assist with building evacuation and provide aid and assistance where needed. Assist with medical needs and call for/provide transportation to medical resources. Other routine duties include but are not limited to on-campus parking and traffic enforcement and control, enforce college regulations and lock and unlock campus buildings. The officer will also be available to operate all department vehicles which include campus shuttles and provide security escorts to students, faculty and staff upon request.

- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice

- Must have a valid driver's license with no significant convictions.
- NYS Security License-All officers must possess a valid NYS Security Guard license. If you are not currently licensed as a NYS Security Guard, Fisher will take care of the expenses associated with obtaining your license.
