Job description:

Chrisp Company, specializing in the highway improvement construction industry for over 40 years, is seeking Construction Crew for many of our offices throughout California.


Job Summary:

This entry-level Union position involvespre-marking roadsto prepare for line striping and pavement marking. If you are not part of the Union we will sponsor you. Youll work closely with our installation crews and receive on-the-job training from experienced professionals.


What Youll Do:

  • Measure and mark roads using chalk lines, paint, or tape
  • Follow layout instructions and road plans
  • Assist striping crews as needed
  • Maintain tools and keep a clean worksite
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

What Were Looking For:

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the industry
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet
  • Previous construction or road work experience is a plus, butnot required

Requirements

  1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. Must have and maintain clean driving record.
  3. Must be able to pass a drug test.
  4. Must be in the Union or willing to join the Union.
  5. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
  6. Must be willing to obtain a Class A license within the first 12 months of employment.
  7. Must consistently follow all safety protocols.
  8. Must be able to work out of town for extended periods of time.
  9. Must be available to work any day of the week for extended periods of time.
  10. Must be able to travel, without restrictions, to all areas where Chrisp Company performs work.
