Job Description

Well established, progressive and growing Cisco and Microsoft systems integrator is in the hunt for a Cisco Network Engineer with Unified Communications (UC). Responsibilities include network systems installation and troubleshooting (mostly remote) and UC systems (UC Manager, voice gateways, IP phones etc) installation and support.

Candidate should have a minimum of associate degree or higher formal training in networking and UC principles (CCNA or better). Must be solidly grounded in TCP/IP, packet routing/switching, DNS, LAN/WAN, Cisco Unified communications and VoIP principles. At least three years of both Cisco network equipment configuration/support and UC experience is required. Command of cisco voice gateway (CLI) and Unified Communications manager (CM or BE6K) also important. Knowledge of Windows systems (expertise not necessary) is also required for UC integration with AD as well as Jabber and CTI install/support.

We are looking for people who are motivated by career advancement and aren't just looking for a pay check.

We're not looking for hired help. We are looking for people to help us build our business though superior installation and support of our customer's and their networks.

Candidate must have strong attention to detail, maturity and ability to follow procedures while being resourceful when the unexpected occurs...and it often does! Our NOC is a fast paced environment that requires excellent multi-tasking abilities when juggling concurrent tasks and troubleshooting issues.
