Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Daytime Hours

Adult Day Health Care Program – Jackson Heights, Queens

Regal Heights is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Adult Day Health Care Program. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. daytime schedule with no evening or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing assessments for new and existing participants

  • Develop, review, and update nursing care plans

  • Monitor participants’ medical conditions and report significant changes

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Coordinate care with physicians, families, managed care plans, therapists, and other providers

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, when applicable

  • Participate in person-centered care planning

  • Help ensure compliance with program policies and Department of Health requirements

  • Complete UAS-NY assessments after receiving the required training and access

Qualifications
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing

  • Strong assessment, care-planning, and documentation skills

  • Experience in geriatrics, home care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, managed long-term care, or adult day health care preferred

  • UAS-NY experience preferred but not required

  • Must be willing to complete the required UAS-NY training

  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
