Job description

Overview

PRMG's Summer Internship Program is designed to introduce college students to all the different career paths within the mortgage industry.  The Internship program is an eight-week program where you will shadow a variety of positions for the first two weeks.  At the end of the first two weeks, there will be a midterm exam to determine placement for the remaining six weeks of the program.  The remaining six weeks, the intern will be in an entry-level position and will master the role.  There will be a final exam issued to measure the knowledge the intern has gained.

Responsibilities

Essential Requirements:

  • College Standing: Needs to be currently attending or recently graduate from a four year university
  • Commute: This internship is located in Corona, CA and is onsite at our Corporate Campus
  • Duartion: June 8, 2026 through July 31, 2026

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learns the essential job functions for the positions shadowed
  • Arrives to locations on time and stays until the end of the day
  • Passes the midterm exam with 80% or better
  • Master an entry level role that is tailored to the interns: interests, strengths, and educational background
  • Become a valuable asset to the department you are assigned to
  • Pass the final exam with an 80% or better
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Must be in sophomore or junior standing at a four-year university
  • Business related major preferred but not required
  • 3.0 minimum GPA required

 

Skills:

  • Organize data, maintain records and prepare reports
  • Use computer systems and software packages related to personnel and benefits administration
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

 

 

Education:

  • In the process of obtaining a four-year degree or recently graduated

 

Travel:  

  • Some travel will be required as the Interns will visit multiple PRMG locations
