Interim Healthcare of Pueblo is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructor for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program!  As the CNA Training Program Instructor, you will provide on-site instruction and education of entry level care giving for our future Nursing assistants of our certified nursing assistant training program. We are hiring an ambitious, motivated, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help further our reach in the Pueblo community and to invest in the next generation of health care providers. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructor, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

  • Provide teaching and instruction of all required education and skills for each student.
  • Provide training's to meet all course competencies.
  • Provide guidance and advice to students in regard to course progress, or any academic related concerns.
  • Provide assistance, support, and report to the Primary Instructor as necessary to accomplish program objectives and goals.

A few must-haves for our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Instructor:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that is active in Colorado.
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
  • One (1) year of recent nursing experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill in a nursing home/long term care facility.
  • Minimum of One (1) year in one of the following: experience teaching adults, experience managing CNA's, or have completed the approved, “Train the Trainer” program.
