Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals
(DSPs) provide daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, safely, and meaningfully in their communities. This is a rewarding entry-level healthcare and human services role with paid training and growth opportunities. No prior experience required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household routines
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and medication support according to training and care plans
  • Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, work, errands, and community activities
  • Encourage independence, social engagement, hobbies, and personal interests
  • Support individuals in learning life skills, job skills, and community participation
  • Complete habilitation activities and required documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow all health, safety, behavioral, and individual support plans
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle for transportation during shifts
  • Ability to pass required background checks
  • Ability to complete job-related training and certifications
  • No degree or prior experience required. Paid training is provided.

Hiring Bonus Details

  • Available shifts include 8:00am - 3:00pm , 3:00pm-10:00pm amp; 10:00pm - 8:00am (overnight shift)
  • Work occurs in residential homes and community-based settings
Pay and Compensation
  • Hourly pay range $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
  • Shift differentials may apply based on schedule and coverage needs
