Job description

The City of Rawlins is currently seeking applications for the position of: Water & Wastewater Plant Operator 1.
This position under the direction of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Superintendent, or head operator, performs entry level technical work in the operation, servicing and general maintenance of equipment in a water treatment plant; assists in back-up operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent. Some experience with mechanical equipment preferred. Ability to acquire Level 1 Certification in water treatment operation within one year, and Level 1 wastewater operator within two years; possession of a valid driver's license. Full-time position starting at $40,976.00
