Job description

Job Title

Strong program/project management skills with experience of large scale multi-national engagement

Fluent in English & Japanese communication (reading, writing and speaking)

Communication is the key and cross-cultural accommodation is a must

Preferred with mergers, acquisitions and divestiture experience on tech program management

Retail business is highly preferred experience, but any tech portfolio (Infrastructure, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations is applicable)

Expected hours of engagement

Preferred (Located in Japan): From around 6 AM to late afternoon (with ~8 hours a day). If in Japan, expected location in Tokyo with a flexibility to travel and work from SEIYU office 2-3 times a week

If in US: Late morning to late evening CST (with ~8 hours a day)

Duration: The program is expected to run till Feb 2024 (and additional 1Q after Feb 2024 as contingency)

Invoicing: Invoiced through US cost center

Act as a representative/primary contact of Walmart in Japan who is available to Seiyu during the day in Japan.

Follow up on questions, clarifications, status on deliverables from Seiyu to Walmart and vice versa.

Keep both Walmart and Seiyu in synch on deliverables, risks, issues.

Be aware of overall program plan and provide insights to possible program level risks to Walmart.

Participate in PMO meetings within Seiyu Japan.

Participate in any cross-tower meetings which require updates from Seiyu or Walmart.
