Business Analyst (BA) Job Description

Position: Junior / Mid-Level Business Analyst

Employment Type: W2 Contract / Full-Time

Location: New Jersey (Hybrid / Onsite)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs
  • Create BRD, FRD, user stories, and functional documentation
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for business decisions
  • Coordinate with development and QA teams during project lifecycle
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and requirement discussions
  • Perform gap analysis and process improvement activities
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validation processes
  • Maintain project documentation and status reports
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
Required Skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
