Position Title: Financial Analyst (Pipeline Position)
Company: CI TECH GROUP
Location: Burke VA (Washington, DC on-site as required by contract; hybrid/remote options may be available)
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain Public Trust
Employment Type: Contingent / Future Opportunity
Anticipated Salary Range: $65,000 – $120,000, depending on experience and final labor category assignment upon contract award
Client: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)


About This Opportunity
CI TECH GROUP is a growing small business providing high-quality program management, financial analysis, and strategic advisory services to federal clients. We are building a pipeline of entry-level and early-career financial professionals in anticipation of upcoming FAA PMO contract opportunities.
The Financial Analyst will support FAA programs by performing financial tracking, budget analysis, and reporting under the guidance of senior staff. This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop federal financial management and PMO experience.
This position is not currently funded, but qualified candidates will be considered for future opportunities as new FAA contracts or task orders are awarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and execution tracking for federal PMO programs.
  • Support development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and cost analyses.
  • Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for program leadership.
  • Track obligations, expenditures, and funding adjustments across multiple accounts.
  • Assist in budget formulation and justification documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal financial management policies and agency guidelines.
  • Coordinate with program and technical teams to align budgets with program objectives.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred:
  • Internship or prior exposure to federal financial systems or programs.
  • Interest in program management office (PMO) operations.
  • Familiarity with reporting and budget tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
