Press Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
  • Be responsible for ensuring that Tool & Die and Pressroom equipment is maintained, running, and repaired as required for production.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical breakdowns of equipment using PC/PLC ladder logic.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Be capable of welding and steel fabrication.
  • Repair electrical components where applicable.
  • Assists other tool room personnel with troubleshooting skills or ideas

This hourly role is a part of our Tool & Die Team and reports to the Tool & Die Supervisor.
Required experience:
  • Associate's degree in a related technical field or High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with stamping presses up to 2000 tons, coil feeding equipment, servo transfer systems, conveyor systems.
  • Familiar with overhead cranes and their operation.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys
  • Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the -ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints to troubleshoot and fix issues.
  • Ability to use multimeters, hand tools, measurement tools, and power tools to troubleshoot and fix.
