Are you passionate about revolutionizing aviation training through innovative mobile and desktop applications? Join our team as a Full Stack Engineer and contribute to the development of a groundbreaking platform that offers AI powered aviation training.

About Us: We are a pioneering company focused on transforming aviation training through AI. We are still in stealth mode and can’t reveal too much info here.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement front end and backend components of our mobile iOS application
  • Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces to enhance the user experience of our training platform
  • Optimize application performance and ensure seamless functionality across various devices and platforms

Requirements:

  • Location: In office at San Francisco, CA (crucial for the nature of the startup)
  • 2+ years’ experience developing iOS applications at scale with a high volume of users, preferably in Swift and SwiftUI
  • Extensive experience working with Swift, iOS Applications, GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Excellent knowledge of any modern programming language (Python, TypeScript, Golang, Kotlin, Scala, Rust, C++, etc.)
  • Excellent engineering and coding skills. Solid understanding of client networking, performance, caching, client storage solutions, accessibility, and asynchronous programming
  • You possess strong product sense and a passion for iOS UI and UX product development
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other iOS, Android, and Web Engineers
  • You’re passionate about continuous learning and innovation in the mobile industry
  • Solid understanding of backend technologies including Node.js, Python
  • Experience working on backend systems using Python and industry standard infrastructure tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience working with LLM workflows (RAGs, fine tuning)
  • Experience with aviation-related technologies or simulation software
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Passion for aviation and interest in aviation safety and training
