The senior full-stack software engineer will be instrumental in shaping the technical and cultural foundations of the company, focusing on architecting and developing software solutions that leverage AI technology for bookkeeping and finance processes.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop software solutions that leverages AI technology to reimagine traditional bookkeeping and finance processes.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to define our vision, strategy, and product roadmap.
• Build and manage the technical infrastructure required to support our services, including databases, servers, and APIs.
• Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of our technology and data.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and finance to continually improve our product offerings.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, data scientists, and developers as the startup grows.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive user adoption.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven experience in software development and building work-class software products.
• 3+ years experience in building web applications using javascript/typescript and frameworks such as Express.js/Nest.js/Next.js.
• 3+ years experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
• Strong experience in building data-intensive, distributed systems.
• Experience in building web front-end using React.js / Vue.js and Material UI.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to operate autonomously.
• Familiar with the rhythm and pace of early stage startups; OK with the level of ambiguity that often comes at this stage.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of entrepreneurs.
Preferred:
• Previous founder experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in building LLM applications using OpenAI API and vector databases is strongly preferred.
