Job Description

A Data Analyst with strong Analytics background to support Corporate Sales Reporting and Analytics needs. The Data Analyst will partner with business and operations technology teams to define and execute data analytics initiatives that help executive leadership gain buy-in on the investments made, create sustainable revenue and growth. Data Analyst will be responsible for driving data driven insights from operational data (booked, flown, contract and sales team metrics from Salesforce, Customer data including segmentation and other marketing elements, potentially forecasting information from Corp Sales and Revenue Management, etc.) This role requires business intuition, project management experience, and a working knowledge of analytical tools.

Partners with operational business stakeholders to identify key initiatives and execute solutions to business problems using data analysis and advanced analytics
Extracts data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models and project development; completes ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
Communicates and coordinates frequently with business stakeholders and technology teams
Develops and validates evaluation metrics, KPIs, Targets, Reports and models to analyze business performance and areas of opportunity

Qualifications

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (statistics, engineering, business analytics, computer science, information systems or related degree)
Passionate about data analytics, strong strategic and critical thinking, problem-solving skills
Experience working with large datasets and reporting or visualization tools, ability to tell a story using data
Experience with Airline Corporate Sales and operations
Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs
Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts in a clear, precise and actionable manner
Familiarity with database interface tools, SQL and programming concepts
Experience with statistical tools and concepts (R, SPSS, SAS)
Preferred skill set:
Experience with Oracle/Exadata, Teradata, AWS Redshift/Hadoop, Splice open source data platforms
Experience with Business Objects-Crystal Reports or Ab Initio for reporting
Experience with Tableau, Spotfire, Alteryx or other visualization tools
Experience with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression and machine learning
