POSITION SUMMARY

The Regulatory Sustainability Analyst supports the organization’s environmental and sustainability compliance programs by gathering, validating, and managing regulatory data related to environmental and product compliance requirements. This role combines regulatory interpretation with operational data management to ensure the company can accurately assess, document, and report on regulatory obligations related to topics such as PFAS chemical disclosures, carbon reporting, environmental product disclosures and supply chain environmental transparency.

The role works cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, compliance, and sustainability teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into structured data collection processes and defensible reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Monitor emerging environmental and product compliance regulations affecting the company’s products and supply chain

•Interpret regulatory requirements related to chemical disclosures, environmental reporting, and sustainability regulations

•Identify data requirements needed to support regulatory compliance and reporting obligations

•Support internal teams in understanding regulatory applicability and reporting triggers

•Collect and manage environmental and regulatory data from suppliers and internal systems

•Develop and maintain sustainability data tracking tools and reporting databases

•Validate supplier-provided data for accuracy and completeness

•Maintain documentation supporting regulatory disclosures and audits

•Develop supplier questionnaires and data collection templates

•Work with suppliers to obtain environmental and product composition information

•Track supplier responses and manage follow-up requests

•Support supplier education on regulatory disclosure requirements

•Support preparation of sustainability and regulatory reports

•Assist with internal compliance dashboards and metrics

•Maintain documentation supporting regulatory submissions

•Contribute to development of governance processes for sustainability data management

•Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

•Bachelor’s degree in environment science, sustainability, regulatory affairs, or related field preferred

•2+ years of experience in environmental compliance, product regulatory compliance, sustainability reporting, supply chain sustainability, and/or ESG data management.

•Competency with regulatory interpretation, data governance, and risk assessment.

•Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, interpret and follow complicated written and verbal instructions, interpret regulations, and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing at a professional level.

•Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.

•Strong communication skills – both written and oral.

•Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high-pressure environment.

•Perform duties with minimum supervision and participate in cross-functional projects as scheduled.
